After releasing the first excellent reviews last August, the famous wine magazine Wine Spectator mentioned Elvio Cogno wines several times in the last few weeks.
Let’s start with the latest Wine Spectator’s Ratings Flash newsletter, in which wines from the Nov 30th, 2022, issue have been added. We are glad to announce that Elvio Cogno has the top two scoring wines of the Piemonte category: the 2017 Barolo Ravera Bricco Pernice (95 p.) and the 2018 Barolo Ravera (94 p.).
This represents an extraordinary result which, undoubtedly, fills us with pride and satisfaction.
Always talking about WS newsletters, we are pleased to point out Wine Spectator’s Advance, their member-only release which previews the Buying Guide for the December 15 issue. The 2016 Barolo Ravera Riserva Vigna Elena, which was awarded the excellent score of 97/100 last August, has been included in the “Collectibles”.
Last but not least, more scores and reviews of our wines were published on Wine Spectator website:
- Barolo Cascina Nuova 2018 | 92 points
- Barbera d’Alba Bricco dei Merli 2020 | 91 points
- Dolcetto d’Alba Mandorlo 2021 | 90 points
We would like to express our immense gratitude towards the wine critic Bruce Sanderson and all the editorial staff of Wine Spectator for having positively reviewed the entire range of Elvio Cogno wines and for having included them in their latest prestigious publications!
